Renewal Policy

How Intratec subscription renewals work, including auto-renewal and manual renewal options.

Will my price increase when my subscription renews?

Whether your subscription fee stays the same at renewal depends on your payment method.

If you subscribed using a credit card or PayPal, your subscription fee is not adjusted while your subscription remains active. When your subscription auto-renews, you continue at the same rate — no price increase.

If you subscribed via wire transfer, your subscription does not renew automatically. You must re-purchase your subscription each year, and because wire transfer subscriptions are not protected by a price lock, you may be charged a higher fee if rates have been adjusted since your original purchase.

Keeping an active subscription on auto-renew through credit card or PayPal is the most reliable way to lock in your current fee.

Managing Auto-Renewal

Does my subscription renew automatically?

Auto-renewal depends on how you pay for your subscription.

  • Credit card or PayPal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each annual billing cycle. No action is required on your part — the renewal charge is applied to the same payment method used at checkout.
  • Wire transfer: Auto-renewal is not available. Wire transfer subscriptions must be manually re-purchased each year. If you do not re-purchase before your subscription expires, your access will end at the close of your current billing period.

How do I stop my subscription from renewing?

To stop your subscription from renewing automatically, cancel it before the end of your current billing period. Only the subscription owner can do this.

  1. Log in at www.intratec.us with your email and password
  2. Click "Account" in the top menu, then select "Subscriptions Billing"
  3. Locate the subscription you want to cancel and click "Billing Info"
  4. Click the "Cancel" link under "Recurring Status"

Once cancelled, your recurring billing stops immediately. You and your users will continue to have full access until the end of the current billing period — you are not cut off right away. A confirmation email will be sent when the cancellation is processed.

Does paying by credit card affect my renewal terms?

Yes — paying by credit card or PayPal gives you two key renewal advantages that wire transfer does not.

Price lock: When you subscribe via credit card or PayPal, your subscription fee is not adjusted while your subscription remains active. Your rate at renewal is the same as the rate you originally paid.

Auto-renewal: Credit card and PayPal subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each annual cycle, so your access is never interrupted by a lapsed payment. Wire transfer subscriptions must be re-purchased manually each year, and because there is no price lock, the fee may be higher than the previous year.

In practice, credit card and PayPal subscribers enjoy the lowest subscription fee, immediate activation, and guaranteed price stability at renewal — making them the most cost-predictable option for ongoing subscribers.

How do I renew if I paid by wire transfer?

Wire transfer subscriptions do not renew automatically. To continue your access after the current annual period ends, you need to purchase a new subscription through the Intratec website.

Go to www.intratec.us, select the product and plan you want, proceed to checkout, and choose wire transfer as your payment method again. An invoice with bank transfer details will be sent to your email.

When does my subscription renewal charge happen?

After Renewal or Expiry

What happens to my access when my subscription expires?

When your subscription expires — either because you cancelled it and the billing period ended, or because it was not renewed — your access to Intratec data stops immediately. You and any users on your subscription must cease all use of the Licensed Materials at that point.

For credit card and PayPal subscriptions, this situation is avoided automatically because the subscription renews at the end of each annual cycle. For wire transfer subscriptions, where renewal is manual, it is important to re-purchase before your expiry date to avoid a gap in access.

If you need to confirm your subscription's expiry date, you can find it in your account under "Subscriptions" on the Intratec website.

Can I get a refund if I didn't mean to renew?

If your subscription was charged a renewal fee and you did not intend to renew, you may be able to request a refund — but you must act within 21 days of the renewal charge date.

Refunds on subscription renewals are an exception to the standard no-refund policy. They are not guaranteed, but Intratec may approve them when requested within the 21-day window.

To request a refund, contact Intratec by email with the subject line "Refund Request". Include your account details and the renewal charge you are disputing.

If approved, the refund amount equals the renewal fee paid less an 8% processing fee (covering bank, merchant, and payment gateway charges). The refund is credited back to the same account used for the original purchase — refunds to a different account or to a closed account are not possible.
