Login Requirements

Email and geographic requirements for logging in to an Intratec account.

Email & Account Setup

Can I log in with a Gmail or personal email address?

No. Intratec accounts require a business email address. Free personal email domains — including Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, Outlook, and AOL — are not accepted for login.

This restriction exists because Intratec operates exclusively as a B2B platform, serving companies and organizations. All subscription users must hold an email address under their company's domain. When adding extra users to a subscription, every invited colleague must share the same business email domain as the subscription owner. If you need access to a subscription purchased by your company, ask your subscription administrator to invite you using your corporate email address.

Why are free email domains not accepted for login?

Intratec is a B2B platform — its products are designed for companies and organizations, not individual consumers. Under Intratec's Terms & Conditions, subscriptions can only be purchased by people acting on behalf of a business or institution.

Requiring a corporate email address enforces this boundary: it ties each account to a verifiable company identity and ensures that subscription access is tied to an organization rather than a personal inbox. This also makes it straightforward to manage multi-user subscriptions, since all invited users must share the same business email domain.

Access Restrictions by Plan

Can I access my subscription from any country?

It depends on your subscription plan. Pro and Advanced plan subscribers can access their subscription data from anywhere in the world. Starter plan subscribers, however, are subject to geo-restricted access — meaning data can only be accessed from the same country where the subscription was purchased.

Plan Access Geographic Restriction
Starter Same country only IP-restricted to purchase country
Pro Worldwide None
Advanced Worldwide None

If your team is distributed across multiple countries, a Pro, Advanced, or Ultimate plan eliminates geographic access barriers.

What does "geo-restricted access" mean for my plan?

Geo-restricted access — also called geoblocking — is a technology that limits access to online content based on the user's physical location. For Intratec subscriptions, this means that Starter plan users can only view and interact with their subscription data while physically located in the country where the subscription was purchased.

In practical terms: if your company subscribed from the United States on a Starter plan, a colleague working remotely from another country would be blocked from accessing the data. The restriction is enforced at the IP address level.

This limitation applies exclusively to the Starter plan. Pro, Advanced, and Ultimate subscribers have unrestricted, worldwide access with no location-based blocks.

Account Security

Can two people log in with the same credentials at once?

No. Concurrent access using the same login credentials is strictly prohibited. Each Intratec account is personal to the individual it was issued to, and simultaneous use of the same account by different people is not permitted under the subscription terms.

If your team needs multiple people to access the data at the same time, each person must have their own login. Subscription owners and administrators can add users to the subscription at no extra cost through the Users Management section, as long as those users share the same business email domain.

What happens if Intratec detects unauthorized account use?

If Intratec suspects unauthorized account use — such as credential sharing or simultaneous logins from different locations — it may cancel the account. This applies regardless of the subscription plan or remaining billing period.

Additionally, subscription data and products may be watermarked with customer and user identity information, which allows Intratec to trace the origin of any data shared outside authorized boundaries.

The customer is responsible for ensuring their authorized users comply with the subscription terms and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access. Unauthorized use is defined as access by anyone other than the named account holder or properly added subscription users.
