Report Editions
What report editions are available?
Commodity Production Costs reports are available in three editions:
All editions include process description, raw materials and utilities consumption data, labor requirements, capital cost summary, operating cost summary, and the production costs datasheet.
How much does a production cost report cost?
Report pricing by edition:
- Compact -- $799 USD
- Detailed -- $1,599 USD (Most Popular)
- Premium -- Starting at $2,699 USD
Volume discounts are available when purchasing multiple reports for the same commodity in a single order: 10% off for 2 reports, 20% for 3 reports, and 30% for 4 or more reports. Discounts are applied automatically at checkout.
Payment is accepted via credit card, PayPal, and wire transfer.
What is the difference between report editions?
The three editions cover the same production process but differ in the depth of cost analysis, diagrams, and delivery format.
A Compact report provides total CAPEX and OPEX figures and a production costs datasheet -- sufficient for a quick investment screening. A Detailed report adds the granular breakdowns (ISBL vs. OSBL capital costs, utility cost details, fixed cost details) needed for financial modeling. A Premium report further adds process flow diagrams, equipment lists, and costs at different plant capacities for detailed engineering estimates.
Which edition includes process flow diagrams?
Process flow diagrams (PFD) and equipment lists are included exclusively in the Premium edition. All editions include a process schematic diagram and a block flow diagram (BFD), which provide an overview of the manufacturing process steps.
The Premium edition also includes a project implementation and construction schedule, which is not available in the Compact or Detailed editions.
Which edition can I download as a PDF?
PDF delivery format varies by edition:
- Compact -- Read-only online PDF. Cannot be downloaded or printed.
- Detailed -- Downloadable PDF (non-printable).
- Premium -- Downloadable PDF (non-printable by default). A print-enabled version is available as an add-on.
Online reports remain accessible in your private area for 365 days from the delivery date.
Is there a volume discount for multiple reports?
Volume discounts are available when purchasing multiple Commodity Production Costs reports in a single order:
Discounts are applied per commodity (multiple reports for the same commodity) and are calculated automatically at checkout. All reports must be purchased in a single order to qualify for the discount.
Can I share a report with colleagues at my company?
Yes, all editions allow sharing within your company, but the permitted scope varies by edition:
- Compact -- Co-workers at your company located in the same country.
- Detailed -- Co-workers at your company with no geographic restriction.
- Premium -- Co-workers across your entire business group (parent company and subsidiaries), with no geographic restriction.
In all cases, users must have business emails associated with the licensed company's domain. Sharing with third parties outside your company or business group is not permitted.
The Compact license is geographically restricted — only employees in the same country as the purchasing entity can access the report.
Is technical support included with a report?
Technical support is included exclusively with the Premium edition. It is delivered via email and subject to the following conditions:
- Response time: Up to 3 business days
- Eligibility window: Within 21 calendar days after report delivery
- Included scope: Up to 4 man-hours (approximately 6 questions)
Technical support is not available for Compact or Detailed edition purchases. If you need support after acquiring a Compact or Detailed report, upgrading to the Premium edition is an option.
Can I upgrade my edition after purchasing?
Yes. It is possible to upgrade a previously purchased report to a higher edition. The upgrade fee corresponds to the difference between the edition prices.
To upgrade:
- Log in at www.intratec.us.
- Go to "My Products."
- Filter to locate the desired report.
- Select the report and click "Upgrade."
The upgraded edition will reflect the latest available data at the time of the upgrade.
Content Depth by Edition
Does the report include plant capacity analysis?
The Plant Capacity Assessment is available exclusively in the Premium edition. It evaluates both capital costs and operating costs for different plant capacities, allowing you to understand how CAPEX and OPEX scale as plant size changes.
This feature is particularly valuable for cost engineers who need to adjust cost estimates for plant sizes different from the base case analyzed in the report. The Compact and Detailed editions do not include capacity assessment.
What cost breakdowns are included in each edition?
The level of cost detail increases with each edition, from summaries in Compact to full breakdowns in Premium.

Operating Cost (OPEX) breakdowns:
