Energy Prices & Markets covers 12 energy commodities across all subscribed countries:

Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Coal, LPG, Naphtha, Gasoline, Kerosene, Diesel, Fuel Oil, Electricity, Ethanol, and Biodiesel.

Every country subscription includes price data for this full set of commodities. There is no option to subscribe to a subset of commodities — the product is structured by country, and each country report covers all 12.

Which countries are available in this product?

Energy Prices & Markets is available for 33 countries spanning North America, South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

Subscriptions are sold per country. You can start with one country and expand your coverage at any time — each additional country is billed on a prorated basis for the remainder of your current billing period.

Can I subscribe to just one energy commodity?

Single-commodity subscriptions are not available. Subscriptions are organized by country — when you subscribe to a country at any plan tier, you receive data for all 12 energy commodities covered in that country.

This structure reflects the interconnected nature of energy markets: commodity prices within a country influence one another, and analytical workflows typically require a cross-commodity view. A Crude Oil subscription, for example, would have limited analytical value without context from Natural Gas, Diesel, and other related fuels in the same market.

Can I add more countries after subscribing?

Yes, you can add countries to an existing subscription at any time.

To add a country, the subscription owner must:

1. Log in at intratec.us with the registered email and password.
2. Click on "Subscriptions" in the account menu.
3. Locate the Energy Prices & Markets subscription and click "Upgrade Plan."
4. Select the additional country or countries to add.

You pay only the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period — you are not charged a full annual fee mid-cycle.

Can I change or remove a country from my subscription?

Countries cannot be changed or removed from an active subscription. Once a country is added, it remains part of your subscription until the subscription expires or is cancelled.

Two specific actions are not allowed:

• Switching countries: You cannot replace one country with another within the same subscription term.
• Removing countries: You cannot reduce the number of countries in an active subscription.

Adding new countries is always permitted. If your needs have changed, the alternative is to cancel your current subscription and start a new one at the beginning of the next billing cycle with your updated country selection.

Is data available below the country level?

Data is available at the country level only. Energy Prices & Markets does not provide regional, state, provincial, or city-level breakdowns — all price assessments, market data, and analytical outputs are reported at the national level for each subscribed country.

If sub-national analysis is required (for example, differentiating electricity prices by U.S. state or natural gas costs by province), this product does not cover that granularity.

Are all 12 commodities available for every country?

Do reports include electricity generation data?

Yes, reports on Advanced and Ultimate plans include an Electricity Generation by Source section. This section breaks down how electricity is generated within each subscribed country, showing the contribution of each energy source to total generation.

This data provides context for understanding electricity price dynamics — a country that relies heavily on natural gas for generation, for example, will show a tighter correlation between gas prices and electricity prices than one with a more diversified generation mix.

Starter and Pro plan subscribers do not have access to this section. Their reports include current electricity prices and historical data, but not the generation breakdown by source.
